ঝিনাইদহ প্রতিনিধি : ঝিনাইদহে নানা আয়োজনে পালিত হয়েছে শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী দিবস। এ উপলক্ষে বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের উদ্দোগে দলীয় কার্যালয়ে কালো পতাকা উত্তোলন এবং জাতীয় ও দলীয় পতাকা অর্ধ-নমিত করা হয়। শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী দিবস পালন উপলক্ষে জেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি ও সাধারন সম্পাদকের নেতৃত্বে শহরে দুটি র্যালী বের করা হয়। র্যালী দুটি শহরের প্রধান প্রধান সড়ক ঘুরে প্রেরণা একাত্তর চত্বরে গিয়ে শেষ হয়।
সেখানে বঙ্গবন্ধুর প্রতিকৃতিতে পুষ্পমাল্য অর্পণ করের জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের নেতাকর্মীরা। সেসময় ঝিনাইদহ জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি ও ঝিনাইদহ-১ আসনের সংসদ সদস্য ও সাবেক প্রতিমন্ত্রী বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা আব্দুল হাই এমপি ও জেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সাধারন সম্পাদক ও সাবেক পৌর মেয়র সাইদুল করিম মিন্টু, জেলা আওয়ামীলীগের দপ্তর সম্পাদক ও সরকারি কৌশুলি জি.পি অ্যাড. বিকাশ কুমার ঘোষ, জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের প্রচার সম্পাদক মন্জুর পারভেজ তুষার, ,জেলা আওয়ামীলীগের ধর্ম বিষয়ক সম্পাদক ও সাবেক পৌর চেয়ারম্যান আনিচুর রহমান খোকা,জেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সদস্য এ্যাডঃ সালমা ইয়াসমিনসহ অন্যান্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
একই সময়ে জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক সাইদুল করিম মিন্টুর নেতৃত্বে একটি র্যালী বের করা হয়। র্যালীটি শহরের বিভিন্ন সড়ক ঘুরে প্রেরণা একাত্তর চত্বরে গিয়ে শেষ হয়। পরে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ স্মৃতিসৌধে শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন তারা।
অপরদিকে রাষ্ট্রের পক্ষে জেলা প্রশাসন ও পুলিশ বিভাগসহ নানা সংগঠন শহীদ স্মৃতি স্তম্ভে শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন।এছাড়াও আলোচনা সভা, দোয়া মাফফিলসহ নানা কর্মসূচীর মধ্য দিয়ে পালিত হয়েছে দিবসটি।
