নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : তেরখাদায় নতুন উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (ইউএনও) হিসেবে যোগদান করলেন মারুফা বেগম নেলী। গত মঙ্গলবার তেরখাদা উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তার কার্যালয়ে বিদায়ী ইউএনও মোঃ আসাদুজ্জামানের নিকট থেকে তিনি আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন।
তেরখাদায় যোগদানের আগে তিনি বাগেরহাটের ফকিরহাট উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।
নবাগত উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (ইউএনও) মারুফা বেগম নেলী বলেন, সকলের সহযোগিতায় এ উপজেলাকে আরো সমৃদ্ধ করতে আমি বদ্ধপরিকর। তেরখাদা উপজেলা প্রশাসনকে জনবান্ধব গড়ে তুলবো।
সরকারি সকল কাজে সাধারণ মানুষকে সহযোগিতা করতে উপজেলার সকল সরকারি অফিসের কর্মকর্তাকে অবহিত করবো। উল্লেখ্য, ইউএনও মারুফা বেগম নেলী নরসিংদী জেলায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।
তিনি ৩৪ তম বিসিএস (প্রশাসন) ক্যাডার হিসেবে সরকারি চাকুরিতে যোগদান করেন। ব্যক্তিগত জীবনে বিবাহিত। তাঁর শ্বশুরবাড়ি ফরিদপুর জেলায়।
