রূপসা প্রতিনিধি : খুলনা বিভাগীয় কমিশনার মোঃ হেলাল মাহমুদ শরীফ বলেছেন, সকলে মিলে ঐক্যবদ্ধ ভাবে দেশের উন্নয়নে কাজ করতে হবে। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান স্বপ্ন দেখে ছিলেন দারিদ্রতা ও শোষন মুক্ত একটি স্বাধীন স্বনির্ভরশীল রাস্ট্রের।
এজন্য তিনি গোটা বাঙ্গালী জাতিকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করে ৩০ লক্ষ শহীদ ও ২ লক্ষ মাবোনের সম্ভ্রমের বিনিময় অর্জিত একটি স্বাধীন সার্বভৌম রাস্ট্র আমাদের জন্য রেখে গেছেন। একারণে আমাদের কর্তব্য ক্ষুদা দারিদ্র্য ও শোষন মুক্ত রাস্ট্র গঠনের জন্য নিজেকে আত্মনিয়োগ করতে হবে। তিনি রূপসায় ৪৫তম জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি মেলার উদ্বোধন কালে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে একথা বলেন।
অনুষ্ঠানে সম্মানিত অতিথি ছিলেন খুলনা জেলা প্রশাসক মোঃ ইয়াসীর আরেফীন। গতকাল ২৯ জানুয়ারি (সোমবার) বিকেল ৩ টায় উপজেলা প্রসাসন আয়োজিত ২দিনব্যাপী মেলায় সভাপতিত্বকরেন উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার কোহিনূর জাহান। বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন খুলনা জেলা প্রশাসকের সহধর্মিণী, বয়রা মহিলা কলেজের অধ্যাপক ফারহানা বিনতে আজিজ, বিভাগীয় কমিশনারের সহধর্মিণী মেহেরুন্নেছা, উপজেলা মহিলা ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান ফারহানা আফরোজ মনা, সহকারী কমিশনার (ভুমি) আব্দুল্লাহ আল বাকী।
উপজেলা শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা মোঃ আমিনুল ইসলামের সঞ্চালনায় বক্তৃতা করেন সহকারী কমিশনার ভুমির সহধর্মিণী মোছাঃ হাবিবা সুলতানা, সমাজসেবা কর্মকর্তা জেসিয়া জামান, প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়ন কর্মকর্তা মোঃ আনিছুর রহমান প্রমুখ।
