তেরখাদার শতদল মহাবিদ্যালয়ে নবীন বরণ ও সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত

নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : তেরখাদা উপজেলার ইন্দুহাটী পাতলায় অবস্থিত ঐতিহ্যবাহী শতদল মহাবিদ্যালয়ের ২০২৩-২৪ শিক্ষাবর্ষের নবীন বরণ ও সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনা আর নানা আয়োজনের মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার শতদল কলেজের আয়োজনে এই নবীনবরণ ও সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানকে কেন্দ্র করেই উৎসব মুখরিত হয়ে ওঠে কলেজ ক্যাম্পাস। ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা কেউ এসেছে সেজে, কেউবা সাধারণ পোশাকে। নবীন বরণ অনুষ্ঠান উপলক্ষে উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশের মধ্য দিয়ে পুরো কলেজ চত্বরে রং-বেরঙের নানা উপকরণ দিয়ে সাজানো হয়েছে।
এ যেন উৎসবের আমেজ। কলেজ অধ্যক্ষ আলহাজ¦ মনির উদ্দীন বিশ^াসের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন জেলা আ’লীগের সিনিয়র যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক তেরখাদা উপজেলা পরিষদের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান এবং অত্র কলেজের প্রতিষ্ঠাকালীন সভাপতি ও বর্তমান গভর্নিং বডির সভাপতি আলহাজ¦ মোঃ শরফুদ্দিন বিশ^াস বাচ্চু।
তিনি প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে নবীনদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলেন, “ভালো ছাত্র হওয়ার আগে, ভালো মানুষ হতে হবে। তোমরা উচ্চ শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত হওয়ার দীক্ষা শতদল কলেজ থেকেই নেবে।
ভালো মানুষ হতে হলে পড়াশুনা করতে হবে। তোমরাই ভবিষ্যতের বাংলাদেশ। তাই তোমাদের সুপথে চলতে হবে আলোকিত মানুষ হতে হবে”।
অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে পবিত্র কুরআন তেলাওয়াত এবং পবিত্র গীতা পাঠ করে অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়। এরপর প্রধান অতিথি ও বিশেষ অতিথিদের ফুল দিয়ে বরণ করা হয়। কলেজের শরীরচর্চা শিক্ষক বিপুল কুমার মৈত্র এর পরিচালনায় অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন উপজেলা আ’লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান কে এম আলমগীর হোসেন, জেলা ছাত্রলীগের সভাপতি পারভেজ হাওলাদার, বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবক ও শিক্ষানুরাগী নৃপেন্দ্রনাথ শিকদার, ইন্দুহাটি নেপালচন্দ্র মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক অনাদী বিশ^াস। অন্যান্যের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ও বক্তব্য রাখেন সাংবাদিক রাসেল আহমেদ, সহঃ অধ্যক্ষ সুদাস চন্দ্র দাস, সিনিয়র প্রভাষক আব্দুল হান্নান বিশ^াস, উৎপল কুমার গাইন, সহকারি শিক্ষক ভজন কুমার, আবুল কালাম আজাদ, এফ এম আরিফুল ইসলাম, আবির হোসেন হৃদয়, সুমন শেখ, রনি ফকির, হাসিবুর শেখ সহ শিক্ষক, ছাত্র-ছাত্রী এবং অভিভাবক বৃন্দ। নবীন বরণ অনুষ্ঠান শেষে কলেজ চত্বরে এক মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।
