কপিলমুনি প্রতিনিধি : খুলনা পল্লীবিদ্যুৎ সমিতির অন্তগর্ত পাইকগাছা উপজেলার হরিঢালী ইউপির উত্তর সলুয়ায় অবস্থিত পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ সাব-স্টেশনে দূর্বৃত্তরা অগ্নিসংযোগের ঘটনা ঘটিয়েছে। তবে তাৎক্ষণিক কর্তৃপক্ষ বিষয়টি বুঝতে পেরে আগুন নিভিয়ে ফেলতে সক্ষম হওয়ায় কোন প্রকার ক্ষয়-ক্ষতির ঘটনা ঘটেনি। পাইকগাছা থানা পুলিশ ও পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তাদের বরাত দিয়ে জানাগেছে, বুধবার ভোর আনুমানিক ৬ টার দিকে অজ্ঞাত পরিচয় দূর্বৃত্তরা কপিলমুনির সলুয়াস্থ পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ সমিতির সাব-স্টেশনের পূর্ব দিক থেকে লাঠির মাথায় চট (বস্তা জাতীয়) পেঁচিয়ে তাতে পেট্টোল লাগিয়ে অগ্নিসংযোগ করে। তবে বিষযটি তাৎক্ষণিক বুঝতে পেরে প্রথমত লাইন বন্ধ ও তাৎক্ষণিক আগুন নেভাতে সক্ষম হন সেখানে কর্মরত শ্রমিকরা। ফলে সেখানে কোন ক্ষয়-ক্ষতির ঘটনা ঘটেনি। খবর পেয়ে তাৎক্ষণিক উপজেলা সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) আরিফুজ্জামান, সহকারী পুলিশ সুপার (ডি-সার্কেল) মো: সাইফুল ইসলাম, পাইকগাছা থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) ওবাইদুর রহমান, পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ সমিতির পাইকগাছা এজিএম মো: রফিকুল ইসলাম, প্রকৌশলী হাফিজুর রহমান, কপিলমুনি পুলিশ ফাঁড়ি ইনচার্জ পুলিশ পরিদর্শক তফসির উদ্দীন, হরিঢালী পুলিশ ফাঁড়ি ইনচার্জ এসআই সঞ্জিত কুমার, এসআই শাহজুল ইসলাম ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শন করেছেন। ধারণা করা হচ্ছে, নির্বাচনকে সামনে রেখে কোন গোষ্ঠি সাধারণের মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার করতে পরিকল্পিতভাবে ঘটনাটি ঘটিয়ে থাকতে পারে। পল্লী বিদ্যুৎ সমিতির কপিলমুনি কেন্দ্রের লাইন ইনচার্জ (টেকনিশিয়ান) চঞ্চল কুমার সরকার জানান, ঘটনার সময় ৬ টার কিছু পরে লাইনম্যান, গ্রেড-১মো: সিদ্দিকুর রহমান ও নৈশ প্রহরী অশোক কুমার সাহা অবস্থানকালীণ অজ্ঞাত পরিচয় দূর্বৃত্তরা উপ-কেন্দ্রের পূর্ব পাশের সীমাণা থেকে ঐ অগ্নিসংযোগের ঘটনা ঘটায়। তবে তাৎক্ষণিক বিষয়টি বুঝতে পেরে সাথে সাথে আগুন নিভিয়ে ফেলতে সক্ষম হন। বিধায় কোন প্রকার ক্ষয়-ক্ষতির ঘটনা ঘটেনি। ধারণা করা হচ্ছে জনমনে ব্যাপক ভীতির সঞ্চার ঘটাতে পাইকগাছার এজলাস কক্ষের পর এমন ঘটনার পুনরাবৃত্তি। তবে সর্বশেষ ঘটনার পর থেকে এলাকায় পুলিশি টহল জোরদার করা হয়েছে।
