বটিয়াঘাটায় মাসব্যাপী ইদুর নিধন অভিযান
বটিয়াঘাটা প্রতিনিধি : বটিয়াঘাটা উপজেলায় মাসব্যাপী ইদুর নিধন অভিযানের উদ্বোধন হয় সম্প্রতি উপজেলা কৃষি দপ্তর মিলনায়তনে। কৃষি কর্মকর্তা আবু বকর সিদ্দিকীর সভাপতিত্বে উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন সহকারী কমিশনার আবদুল্লহ ইবনে মাসুদ।
বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান নিতাই গাইন, চঞলা মন্ডল। বক্তব্য রাখেন শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা নরায়ণ চন্দ্র মন্ডল অধ্যাপক, সাংবাদিক এনায়েত আলী বিশ্বাস সাংবাদিক, ইদ্রজিত টিকাদার,আহসান কবির প্রমুখ।
সভায় রাসায়নিক পদ্ধতিতে ইদুর নিধনের উপর গুরুত্ব আরোপ করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করেন কৃষি সম্প্রসারণ কর্মকর্তা শরিফুল ইসলাম। পরে ইদুরের লেজ সংগ্রহকারীদের পুরস্কৃত করা হয়।
